Play the two tutorials, pause at the start of a mission, and give one formation a clear initial task. Review its orders, supply and progress before extending the operation.
Read guide 02 / SUPPLY & TERRAINsupply guide
Check the formation’s current supply state, its depot and the route between them before pushing farther. Terrain affects supply flow; low supplies call for reassessment or withdrawal.

Use Zone Orders for a formation’s operational task and direct unit orders when a local action needs intervention. Check the force and area involved before revising a plan.
